Resident of east Vancouver retirement facility celebrates 95th birthday

AIRPORT GREEN — Springwood Landing Gracious Retirement Living resident Bea Hull celebrated her 95th “socially distanced birthday” May 26. Many senior living facilities are on strict no-visitation orders during the COVID-19 pandemic, because seniors are more vulnerable to the disease. Hull’s daughter, Ann, who lives in San Clemente, Calif., arranged for her to be visited by her Washougal neighbors and local friends, including those with Zion Lutheran Church in Camas, and the Vancouver Symphony. Hull’s late husband Lawton “Chic” Hull was a musician and board member, the woman’s daughter, Patricia, said.
