The Vancouver Police Department, with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is seeking the public’s help in finding a woman who’s been missing since February 2018.
Vancouver’s Ashanti Conde, 29, was last seen by family Feb. 19, 2018, and then by acquaintances three days later when she left a Washougal residence. Conde left in a Cadillac sedan with an acquaintance, Michael Conley, also of Vancouver, according to a Crime Stoppers news release.
All communication from Conde, including through social media, stopped Feb. 22, 2018, the news release states.
Conley’s body was found March 9, 2018, near a dirt road above the snow line northeast of Dougan Falls. The Cadillac was abandoned more than a mile away — stuck in deep snow and mud. There were no signs of foul play in Conley’s death, according to the news release.
Law enforcement and search and rescue volunteers searched the area but didn’t find any sign of Conde.
