Ridgefield residents can order American flags that will be installed Saturday outside their homes.
The Ridgefield Lions Club has offered to install the flags in preparation for Flag Day on Sunday. For a $20 donation, Lions Club members will install the flags in the areas of residents’ choosing.
The 150 flag kits were made in the U.S., according to a Lions Club news release. If donations exceed the cost of the flags, the rest will be allocated to community projects.
Residents can order flags by visiting www.ridgefieldlions.org and clicking on the Lions Flag Project. Those who won’t be home Saturday are asked to mark where installers should place the flags.
