A developer has submitted plans to build a 65-unit apartment complex near the intersection of Northeast 63rd Street and Northeast 72nd Avenue in Vancouver. A pre-application packet submitted to the city refers to the project as the 62nd Street Apartments PAC.
The project would include three buildings, two with 24 units each and one with 17 units plus a central office. The buildings would not exceed three stories, according to the project’s pre-application packet, and there would be approximately 1.6 parking spaces per apartment unit.
The 2.17-acre site consists of two parcels, each of which currently has one single-family home. The applicant is requesting the property be rezoned from R-18 to R-30. A pre-application conference has been scheduled for 10 a.m. June 25.
