Jeff Lukowiak has been named as Ridgefield’s head girls soccer coach, the Ridgefield School District announced Thursday.

He replaces Robby Trimbo, who left this spring after guiding the Spudders to a third-place finish at the 2A state tournament this past fall season. The Spudders were 18-5 overall and finished tied for second in the 2A Greater St. Helens League.

Lukowiak has coached for more than 17 years, most recently at the Washington Timbers FC Academy.

His most recent coaching achievements consist of a 2020 Las Vegas Cup Championship and two finalist appearances for the Washington Youth Soccer Presidents Cup.

“I am ecstatic with the opportunity to work within this amazing school district, high school and community,” Lukowiak said in a statement. “I look forward to the unlimited possibilities here at Ridgefield.”

Lukowiak, who lives in Camas, is currently a financial planner in Vancouver. Prior to his career in finance, he served 22 years in the U.S. Coast Guard as Special Agent in Investigative Services.
