BATTLE GROUND — The Battle Ground Public Schools Board of Directors selected Jackie Maddux to fill the District 5 director position vacated by Tina Lambert, who resigned earlier this year. Maddux was sworn in on June 22.
Maddux is an accounting manager for Clark Public Utilities, overseeing accounts payable and billing. She and her family have lived in the district since 2008. Her four children attended district schools and graduated from Prairie High School.
“Now that my children have graduated, I want to serve in a larger capacity and give back to the community that I call home,” Maddux said in a district news release.
Maddux’s appointment lasts through November 2021, at which point the position will be up for election for a four-year term.
