Primary election ballots will start appearing in mailboxes of registered voters today.
The primary election period will begin Thursday and last until Aug. 4. Voters can return their ballots via mail using the prepaid envelope, or drop them off at a ballot drop box no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day. Ballot drop box locations are available at vote.wa.gov.
Registered voters can also visit that website to access their personal voting information, including their voter guide and registration. People who still need to register to vote can also do so online up until July 27, as long as they have a valid Washington driver’s license or identification. After July 27, they can register at the county’s elections office, 1408 Franklin St., in Vancouver, until the end of Election Day.
