The 25 new COVID-19 cases confirmed Wednesday morning by Clark County Public Health are the county’s lowest daily case report since July 2 when 18 new infections were reported.
No new deaths were confirmed Wednesday.
Clark County now has 1,344 confirmed cases and 33 deaths.
There were 106 confirmed cases Monday and 47 Tuesday. Over the last two weeks, the county has been averaging close to 36 new cases per day.
Clark County’s rate of newly diagnosed cases per 100,000 population is up to 58.1, more than double the state’s goal for Phase 3 entry.
On Tuesday, Gov. Jay Inslee announced that all Washington counties will be prohibited from moving into new phases until at least July 28, because of rising infection rates across the state.
