Clark County Public Health reported 106 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and one new fatality since Friday.

The fatality was a man in his 60s with underlying health conditions, Public Health reported Monday. His death brings the county’s total deaths associated with COVID-19 to 33.

The 106 new cases reported Monday works out to an average of about 35 cases per day on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, according to public health. It brings Clark County’s total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 1,272 to date.

As of Monday, 26 people were hospitalized at either PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center or Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center with diagnosed COVID-19 cases. Another seven people under investigation for COVID-19 were hospitalized, as well.
