Boys basketball: La Center 75, Columbia-White Salmon 31

The Wildcats made 62 percent of their 3-point attempts and had just four turnovers in the 1A Trico League win over visiting Columbia.

Evan Norris led La Center in scoring with 18 points  and also had four steals. Hunter Ecklund had 17 points, six assists and four steals. Tobey Deemer got off to a hot start with four 3-pointers in a 23-2 first quarter. He finished with 14 points.

Jacob Lockman and Davis Koester each had eight points for Columbia.
