Girls basketball: La Center 48, King’s Way Christian 45

Kylee Stephens hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 20 seconds left to give the Wildcats a key Trico League win.

After La Center opened with 19-10 edge after one quarter, King’s Way Christian battled back, eventually tying the game at 45-45.

Stephens led La Center with 17 points and five rebounds. Mia Edwards added 11 points and five rebounds.

Abby Cummins and Laurel Quinn had 12 points each for the Knights, while Annabelle Atwood added eight points and nine rebounds.
