Vancouver-based homebuilder Ginn Group submitted preliminary plans for a new townhouse development at 12005 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd.
The 0.77-acre property is a narrow strip of land set back from Mill Plain Boulevard, located along the south side of an empty field that creates a gap in Southeast Fifth Street. The project would divide the strip into 12 lots, with three buildings of four homes each. It would connect the two ends of Fifth Street at either end of the lot, and all of the buildings would front the new segment of Fifth Street, with a separate alley behind them for residential vehicular access.
A pre-application conference with the city is scheduled for 9 a.m. Feb. 13.
