Brendan Beall scored 18 points and the Tigers turned in a stellar defensive effort to win on the road.
Battle Ground (9-7, 3-1) allowed no points in the first quarter, which ended 14-0.
Six-foot-9 post Kaden Perry scored 13 points, but was more of a force on defense. Camas’ post players combined for just six points.
“I think we battled well against Kaden tonight,” Camas coach Ryan Josephson said. “But he was still a defense force. You could tell there was some intimidation trying to attack the rim.”
Battle Ground’s backcourt trio of Beall, Max Ramirez and Nate Millspaugh combined for 37 points.
“Usually those guards are known as shooters, but they were getting to the rim,” Josephson said.
Christian Lenard scored 13 points to lead Camas (6-10, 2-2).
