Ashton Harvey scored 10 of his 18 points in a pivotal third quarter for the Monarchs.
Mark Morris outscored Ridgefield 16-3 in the third quarter to turn a 30-24 deficit into a 40-33 lead.
“We were up six at halftime, but it felt like we should have been up by 15,” Ridgefield coach Jason Buffum said. “Then we just had a typical Spudder lull and made just one basket in the third quarter.”
Ridgefield rallied to cut the game to a one possession game in the final three minutes, but the Monarchs held on.
Josh Mansur had 13 points to lead Ridgefield. Stefan Vossenkuhl added 11 and Carson Knight had 10.
