1. Provide electronic monitoring of domestic violence perpetrators and real-time notification to victims.
2. Prohibit “title-only” bills that are introduced as single-sentence placeholders, with true purpose revealed later.
3. Allow community and technical colleges to have their own police forces.

1. Advocate for business regulatory reform to create a culture of constructive guidance, not punitive enforcement.
2. Prohibit waiver or suspension of penalties for sexual exploitation of children.

1. Work on vaping issues, including likely supporting Gov. Jay Inslee’s pending bill.

Sen. Ann Rivers, R-La Center
1. Overhaul Washington’s hatchery system to create a public-private partnership, similar to Alaska’s program, and a different way to fund the program.
2. Provide more consumer control over facial recognition technology and sale of data.
3. Regulate sports books in aftermath of U.S. Supreme Court’s May 2018 decision striking down federal law that had banned sports gambling in most states.
Rep. Brandon Vick, R-Vancouver
1. Streamline occupational-licensing process for hairdressers, cosmetologists, engineers and other occupations.
2. Explore changes to initiative process for overturning voter-approved initiatives or enacting voter-rejected initiatives.
3. Keep an eye on tax policy and government spending.

1. Fight for small businesses and remove regulatory speed bumps.
2. Work to lower tax burden.
3. Bring common sense to legislative discussions on education, transportation and other issues.
49th Legislative District
Sen. Annette Cleveland, D-Vancouver
1. Provide in-home health care providers with better training and education following Oct. 3 shooting at Vancouver’s Smith Tower, where rejection of the alleged shooter’s sexual advances to a care provider may have been a contributing factor.
2. Provide identification for homeless people as part of removing barriers that perpetuate homelessness.
3. Continue working with city of Vancouver to support credible massage businesses, not illicit ones.
Rep. Sharon Wylie, D-Vancouver
1. Work on transportation budget following passage of Initiative 976.
2. Adjust school funding for Clark County districts.
3. Take preliminary steps toward greater protection of consumer data privacy.

1. Mandate comprehensive sex education in public schools, with a parental opt-out provision.
2. Fill huge gap in transportation funding after Initiative 976.
3. Work as majority floor leader to complete 60-day session smoothly and on time.
