Two Boy Scouts from local troops recently achieved Eagle Scout rank.

December

Wilson Keller, of Troop 648, a Columbia River High School senior, constructed and installed a park bench and interpretive panel at Fort Vancouver in honor of the Buffalo Soldiers and U.S. Army veteran Willie Morehouse, with 200 volunteer hours. Keller, 17, is the son of Patty and Richard Keller.

Caleb Daniel Perkins, of Troop 497, a Washougal High School freshman, led volunteers in making fleece blankets for children at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, with 230 volunteer hours. Perkins, 14, is the son of Blake and Sarah Perkins.
