Girls basketball: Mountain View 32, Evergreen 18

MOUNTAIN VIEW 32, EVERGREEN 18 — Katelyn Henderson led the Thunder with 13 points in the 3A Greater St. Helens League victory.

Mountain View (5-7, 2-0) led 15-7 at halftime in what was deemed an “ugly” game by Mountain View coach Dan Larson.

“Nobody seemed like they could get the lid of the hoop,” Larson said. “Points were at a premium.”

Keyonna Canda led Evergreen (1-11, 0-2) with six points.
