Hockinson hit four of its six 3-pointers in the second half to help pull away from the Spudders.
“Sometimes, it’s just about hitting shots,” Hockinson coach Jon Warner said. “Dakota Souders hasn’t been shooting the ball as well as he can. But he never lost confidence, and we never lost confidence in him. And tonight, it paid off. He hit three 3s, including one that was sort of the nail in the coffin, putting us up seven late.”
The Hawks worked the inside-outside game to perfection, getting 17 points from Jeremiah Faulstick inside, while guards Souders and Micah Paulsen scored 16 each.
Josh Mansur paced Ridgefield with 16 points.
