Camas-Washougal communities rally food for needy families

CAMAS-WASHOUGAL — The Camas and Washougal communities helped collect more than 47,000 pounds of food for families in need during the Stuff the Bus effort, an annual drive by the Camas-Washougal Business Alliance. Camas brought in 25,180 pounds of food and Washougal brought in 21,900 pounds. According to a news release, the total weight was divided by the number of students in each community. Washougal claimed the “win” with 6.97 pounds per student, versus Camas’ 3.37 pounds per student.
