Boys basketball: Fort Vancouver 67, Capital 58

FORT VANCOUVER 67, CAPITAL 58 — Kahlil Singleton scored 18 of his game-high 30 points in the first half as the Trappers (4-6) toppled the previously undefeated Cougars (8-1). Singleton was 5 of 7 from 3-point range and 10-15 from the free-throw line.

The Trappers led 33-26 at halftime.

Keyontae Cage added 12 points and Tre Cannon finished with 11 points and four assists. Tyrique Cargile tallied five steals in the victory.

Fort Vancouver starts league play on Tuesday with a road trip to Mountain View.
