Letter: Better uses for money

By Ed Pavone, Vancouver
Published: February 28, 2020, 6:00am

As of writing this, Mike Bloomberg has spent over $505 million on his presidential campaign. All that money could certainly be put to a more productive outcome. For instance, if a pothole repair was $50, then, just using Bloomberg’s money, the simple division computes to 10,100,000 potholes filled. Think of all the good that can be accomplished adding in the rest of the money from coast to coast.
