Roller derby teams go head-to-head in ‘Big LeBOUTski’ tournament

Smokey, this is not ‘Nam. This is roller derby. There are rules.

Roller derby teams from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Canada battled it out Saturday at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds during The Big LeBOUTski Roller Derby Tournament. Tributes to the namesake movie “The Big Lebowski” and The Dude abounded.

In a separate sanctioned exhibition game, Vancouver’s own Storm City Roller Derby defeated Emerald City Roller Derby of Eugene, Ore., 173-99.
