Both the Clark College men’s and women’s basketball lost NWAC South regional games to Linn-Benton on Saturday at Albany, Ore.
MEN: LINN-BENTON 58, CLARK 50 — Sean Johnson scored 11 points and had nine rebounds, and Dylan Hushaw had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Penguins (10-16, 3-11 NWAC South).
Clark was hurt by 16 turnovers to the Roadrunners’ six.
WOMEN: LINN-BENTON 57, CLARK 41 — The Penguins made just 28 percent of their shots in the loss. Turner Joy was the only Clark player in double figures with 12 points to go with nine rebounds.
UP NEXT: Clark’s final home games of the season are against Portland on Wednesday. Sophomore night tips off at 5:30 p.m. for the women’s game followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.
