A GoFundMe account has been started for the family of Carolyn “Suz” Clark-Bennett, the Stevenson-Carson School District administrator who died in a Hazel Dell car crash Tuesday night.
The funds will help Clark-Bennett’s family with funeral expenses and medical expenses for her husband of 34 years, who is in intensive care and has a long road to recovery, according to the GoFundMe.
As of Thursday afternoon, about $5,100 had been donated toward a fundraising goal of $15,000. To donate, visit https://bit.ly/2T0wUCe.
Clark-Bennett, 54, was killed and four others were injured in the two-vehicle collision in the 3600 block of Northeast 78th Street, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. A statement said the crash occurred about 7:30 p.m. when Clark-Bennett attempted to turn east from the parking lot of King’s Way Christian Schools and drove her Ford Flex into the path of a westbound Dodge 2500 pickup driven by Kierstan Cormican of Battle Ground.
