Offensive rebounding and free-throw shooting helped get Central Kitsap the 3A bi-district tournament win over Prairie and end the Falcons’ season.
“They just outrebounded us,” Prairie coach Jimmy Tuominen said. “They did a good job on the offensive rebounds and converted them.”
Central Kitsap (16-7) was also 7 for 8 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter while Prairie went 0 for 3.
Reece Walling scored 13 points and Aidan Fraly had 10 for the Falcons (13-10).
“I’m really proud of our guys pushing through all the adversity this season and getting to the playoffs,” Tuominen said.
