Clark Asks: February deadline for voting draws near

Washington’s presidential primary election is March 10, but you’ll have to act sooner to cast your vote in The Columbian’s Clark Asks February voting round.

As of Tuesday, this question from Josh Whitehead of Vancouver had a commanding lead among people who have taken part in our reader-guided reporting project: “Is having bright headlights legal? It shouldn’t be. I feel like I’m a deer who’s in a ‘Final Destination’ movie plot.”

Voting continues through Friday. Be sure to vote, especially if your curiosity is piqued by the other two questions in our voting round:

“The Round Lake area in Camas has a sign that states all dogs must be on leash. Is that rule ever enforced? Who enforces it?” This question was from a reader who asked to not be identified.

“Will the bricks and other materials from McLoughlin Middle School & Marshall Elementary be recycled? I was told they will not be. If not, why not?” This question was submitted by Vicki Coles of Vancouver.

The question receiving the most votes will get top priority for reporting, but its not unusual for runners-up to end up in the paper at some point. So be sure to make your preference known: Go to columbian.com/clark-asks and vote for your favorite.
