Angels of God Pantry & Feeding Sites seek volunteer help in their food pantry at Living Hope Church or to help prep and serve meals at the meal sites. Those helping in the preparation and serving of meals will need to acquire a food handler’s permit. Food pantry shifts are 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and Sunday; meal serving is from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every weekday.
Area Agency on Aging & Disabilities of Southwest Washington Long Term Care Ombudsman program advocates for the rights of residents in long-term care facilities by listening to concerns and questions, and working with residents, their families, and staff to meet the needs and concerns of those who live there. Certification training dates are April 20 through April 23. All days must be attended.
Free Clinics of Southwest Washington needs volunteers for roles including administrative assistant, dental assistant, dentist, lab technician, nurse, optometric/ophthalmic technician, optometrist/ophthalmologist, registration, pharmacist, pharmacy technician, physician, and Spanish interpreter. Days and times are dependent on need and volunteer schedules.
North County Community Food Bank volunteers are needed to stock food bank pantry shelves for daily client service, sort and inspect food item donations, prepare client food orders and monthly commodities for distribution, unload daily deliveries, take in donations, maintain cleanliness of the food bank and other tasks as needed. Volunteer drivers are also needed to assist with picking up fresh produce, cooler, meats and bakery items from local Battle Ground grocery stores. Drivers usually begin their day at 7:30 a.m., and are asked to serve a four- to five-hour shift per week. If you enjoy a position with a nice balance of working skillfully with the public and on your own, this is the perfect position for you.
The Historic Trust seeks docents/tour guides to greet guests, answer phones, help with mailings and donations, and give tours at the Howard House, Marshall House, Pearson Field Education Center and Providence Academy. One four-hour volunteer shift each week is preferred.

The Friends of Washougal Community Library are looking for volunteers to help out with the winter book sale, and are also open to book donations.
