Girls basketball: Lincoln 55, Kelso 45

Kelso had a hard time containing Lincoln’s 6-foot-4 post Sharayah Johnson in second half of a 3A bi-district quarterfinal game.

Johnson scored 19 of her 25 points after halftime after Lincoln trailed 21-17 at the intermission.

The Hilanders had two players foul out. Natalie Fraley led Kelso with 16 points.

Kelso will play Peninsula in a loser-out game Tuesday at Clover Park. Kelso will need to win two loser-out games to advance to state.
