Boys basketball: Union 70, Olympia 57

Josh Reznick was one of four players in double figures as No. 1 Union secured a berth into the regional round at the state tournament with a 70-57 win over Olympia Friday in the 4A bi-district tournament.

“Josh Reznick was our MVP,” Union coach Blake Conley said. “Career high in point and some huge offensive rebounds.”

Reznick had 10 of his 14 points in the first half as Union led 35-31.

The Titans’ defense held Olympia to eight points in the third quarter before pulling away.

Tanner Toolson led Union with 21 points. Mason Hill had 15 points and Kaden Horn added 13.

Union will face Sumner in the bi-district semifinal next Wednesday at Mt. Tahoma High School in Tacoma.
