An 18-year-old Woodland man struck by a car near Horseshoe Lake in Woodland on Feb. 2 has died of his injuries, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

The man, identified Wednesday as Noah A. Gray, suffered internal injuries in the collision and died several days later, a press release from the sheriff’s office said.

Gray was not carrying identification when he was struck, which delayed notification of Gray’s next of kin, the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s office said Kobee B. Heidler, 19, of Longview was driving a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta that struck Gray in the 38000 block of Northwest Lakeshore Drive. Heidler and his female passenger have been cooperating with detectives, and no charges have been filed. Heidler said Gray had stepped into the path of their vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.

The crash remains under investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
