Boys basketball: Woodland 56, Ridgefield 52

Trey Hanson scored 26 points, including six 3-pointers, as the Beavers ended the Spudders’ season and preserved their own playoff hopes.

Woodland (9-11, 4-8) forces a tiebreaker game with Mark Morris, slated for 6 p.m. Wednesday at Ridgefield.

“It’s the best we’ve played all year our last two games,” first-year Beaver coach Jesse Buck said. “We have a second wind, a renewed energy. They couldn’t have played harder.”

Isaiah Flanagan added 15 points for the Beavers. Ridgefield (10-0, 4-8) got 16 points from Stefan Vossenkuhl and 15 from Josh Mansur.
