Sean Johnson hit a game-winning 3-pointer with eight seconds left to give Clark College a 92-90 win over Southwest Oregon on Saturday at O’Connell Center.
Johnson came off the bench to score a game-high 25 points, going 9 for 10 from the field, including 4 for 4 from 3-point range. He also grabbed 10 rebounds.
Ethan Smith added 21 points for Clark (9-14, 2-10).
WOMEN: SW OREGON 62, CLARK 59
The Penguins’ fourth-quarter comeback came up a little short.
Trailing 54-43 with 7:11 to play, Clark pulled within 56-54 with 3:17 left. But Southwest Oregon held on behind a clutch 3-pointer by Kealani Neves and by making three of its last four free throws.
Jodi Thomasian scored 21 points to lead Clark (5-16, 1-10).
