Deacon Dietz scored 15 points and Ashton Harvey added 14 as the Monarchs picked up a big win to stay in the hunt for a playoff berth.
The win tied the Monarchs for fourth place with the Spudders in the 2A Greater St. Helens League. It also gave Mark Morris a head-to-head sweep of Ridgefield, meaning if the Monarchs win at Hockinson on Tuesday, they will secure the No. 4 seed to next week’s district tournament.
Ridgefield, which was led by Stefan Vossenkuhl’s 11 points, can also clinch a district playoff berth with a win Tuesday against Woodland.
