Boys basketball: La Center 79, Stevenson 53

Hunter Ecklund scored 24 of his game-high 39 points in the first half and the Wildcats set themselves up for a shot at the Trico League title.

Ecklund did the majority of his damage by going to the rim. He only had two 3-pointers. He also had seven rebounds and five assists.

Jonathan Blackledge led Stevenson in scoring with 22 points, Jesse Miller had 12 and Austin LaCombe had 10.
