Addie MacPherson scored the go-ahead basket with 33 seconds to play to lead the Skyview girls basketball team to a 56-51 come-from-behind win over Camas, clinching the 4A Greater St. Helens League title for the Storm.
The win improved Skyview to 7-0 in 4A GSHL with one league game to play. Union is in second place at 5-2.
As the No. 1 seed from the 4A GSHL, Skyview will host a first-round game in the 4A bi-district tournament on Thursday, Feb. 13.
Camas fell to 4-3 in league. The Papermakers are still in the hunt for the No. 2 seed.
If Camas beats last-place Battle Ground on Wednesday, and Union falls to Skyview, Camas and Union will tie for second. A tiebreaker game would be played Friday with the winner getting the No. 2 seed to bi-district and the loser getting the No. 3 seed.
The No. 3 seed would have to go to play-in game to reach the bi-district tournament.
After Skyview led 13-7 after one quarter, Camas took a 38-35 into the final period.
The Papermakers stretch their lead to seven points before the Storm rallied.
Kazz Parks hit a free throw to tie the game 51-51 with about a minute to play.
Then Parks got the steal on the defensive and fed MacPherson for the fast-break lay-up to put Skyview up 53-51.
The Storm then sealed the win from the free-throw line.
Parks led Skyview with 21 points and MacPherson added 12. Faith Bergstrom led Camas with 17 points and Emily Rehrer scored 14.
