Race for Warmth sees record participation

Clark Public Utilities’ annual fundraiser, the Race for Warmth, drew 1,514 runners and walkers Jan. 26, setting the record for attendance.

The race raised more than $60,000 that will help local families with heating expenses, according to a news release from the utility. The average grant is $290, and more than 200 families will receive one.
