The Columbian

The game had to be moved at the last moment, but that didn’t prevent R.A. Long from moving on.

Miranda Lomax had 17 points and seven assists and freshman Jadyn Terry hit two key 3-pointers in the second quarter as R.A. Long clinched a district playoff berth.

“It’s the first time in many, many years for R.A. Long to go to the playoffs,” R.A. Long coach Jan Karnofski said. “We have to play the No. 1 team from up north. But the fans are happy, the players are happy. We’re making progess.”

The game had to be moved at the last moment to neighboring Lower Columbia College because the heating went out at Mark Morris.
