Boys basketball: Evergreen 78, Hudson’s Bay 42

Jaden Stanley scored 31 points as the Plainsmen wrapped up the 3A Greater St. Helens League title outright with one game to spare.

Stanley scored 14 points in the first quarter as Evergreen took a 25-9 lead. He was 11 for 18 from the field, including four 3-pointers.

Zyell Griffin had 18 points and Izaac Romero added 11 for the Plainsmen (17-2, 9-0).

Tony King scored 20 points to lead Hudson’s Bay (4-16, 1-8).
