Clark County’s COVID-19 activity rate fell for the second week in a row, with Clark County Public Health confirming 78 new cases and no new deaths Tuesday.
The small batch of new cases, along with decreasing daily case counts from last week, have dropped the county’s coronavirus activity rate per 100,000 people over 14 days to 386.08. A week ago, that number was 433.98; on Dec. 15, the activity rate was 450.56.
Last week’s drop was the first time Clark County’s COVID-19 activity rate had decreased since August. It’s been just as long since the last time Clark County saw consecutive weeks of falling activity rates.
Clark County’s total COVID-19 cases is 12,746 to date, and there are currently 677 cases in their isolation period. There are 137 confirmed and suspected deaths; no new deaths have been reported since Dec. 23.
