A Vancouver woman was reported injured and four vehicles were damaged in a Christmas Eve crash at the intersection of Fourth Plain Boulevard and Highway 503.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred at 6:10 p.m. when a speeding Chevrolet Malibu slammed into a vehicle stopped for a red light. That triggered a chain reaction that damaged four vehicles in total.

The driver of the Malibu fled before police arrived, leaving behind an injured passenger identified as Teirin Souken, 46, of Vancouver. She was taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
