The VA Portland Health Care System is asking for help in locating a man who went missing from its Vancouver campus shortly after midnight Wednesday.

Joshua Blevins was last seen around 12:25 a.m. on the campus at 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd. He is an inpatient at the facility on the campus, according to a news release.

Blevins was described as white, 45 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds. He has brown eyes, brown hair and a receding hairline. A photo of Blevins was not available.

He was wearing a brown button-down shirt, blue jeans and a dark-colored backpack, officials said.

Blevins “may be experiencing cognitive issues, is in need of medications, and is not dressed for cold weather,” they said.

If anyone spots Blevins on VA property, they should call the system’s police at 503-808-1911. If he’s seen elsewhere, people should call Vancouver police at 360-693-3111.
