The Interstate Bridge Replacement Program office has extended the deadline to apply to join the project’s Community Advisory Group and Equity Advisory Group. The new deadline is 5 p.m. Dec. 27, according to a press release from the office.

Along with an existing Executive Steering Group, which includes representatives from local governing bodies and agencies, the two advisory groups will advise the project office as it works through the early stages of developing a potential replacement for the I-5 Bridge.

The groups will begin having regular meetings in early 2021. More information and links to the online application for each group can be found at wsdot.wa.gov/projects/i5/interstate-bridge/home.
