Rusty Grape has reopening plans

The Rusty Grape Vineyard in Battle Ground has announced that it will resume operations, a couple of weeks after the owners announced that they were shutting their doors temporarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the time, co-owner Jeremy Brown said the tasting room had relied on outdoor seating during the summer but couldn’t keep doing so during the winter. A new set of statewide COVID-19 restrictions introduced in mid-November includes a complete ban on indoor dining.

In an email to customers Tuesday, the company said it would open back up and “operate for the next few weeks” in response to an outpouring of support from customers. The email includes a list of open hours indicating that the vineyard will only be open on Fridays and weekends.
