Marilyn Koenninger, a longtime ESD 112 board member, was re-appointed to the ESD 112 Board of Directors last week following the resignation of Jennifer Hawks-Conright.

Koenninger’s 31 years as a board member was the longest tenure of any board member in ESD 112’s history. Hawks-Conright defeated Koenninger in the last election in 2019. Hawks-Conright recently resigned when her family moved out of the area.

Koenninger will again represent District 5, which includes Vancouver Public Schools. Her position is up for election again next fall.

“We are very thankful to Marilyn for stepping up to fill this board vacancy,” ESD Superintendent Tim Merlino said. “Her leadership, knowledge, and experience will continue to serve ESD 112 and District 5 well.”
