HUDSON’S BAY — Trillium Employment Services, which supports individuals experiencing an intellectual disability with finding and retaining employment, has been hard at work making sure their clients are staying employed, including on the front lines during the pandemic. “We have worked on the front lines with clients and employers in our community during this time of COVID-19. We have supported individuals at places including PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, Trader Joe’s, Safeway, Clark County Title, Homegoods, Clark County, MOD Pizza and many more,” said Jennifer Ham, senior employment consultant at Trillium Employment Services. “We are also still out in the community continuing to pursue new employment opportunities for our clients that are looking to find employment.” Last month, the organization placed three workers at Clark County businesses, including Ganna Grebenyuk, at Mirus Toys, and an employee at Aloha Natural Pet Supply and at Ritzy Bath. “All three individuals had been looking for a year or longer for gainful employment,” Ham said. “We really take pride in supporting our community by not only serving this community of individuals who experience disabilities but serving our local businesses.”
