The Clark County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that a missing teenager has been located and is safe.

Alyssa Young, 15, went missing July 3 from her mother’s home in Woodland.

Authorities said they were worried about Alyssa’s safety, and that she ran away from home. She was believed to be staying with friends in the area, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

The sheriff’s office thanked the public for its help in finding Alyssa.
