The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing teenage girl.

Alyssa Young, 15, was last seen July 3 at her mother’s home in Woodland. Authorities say Alyssa “performed self-harm” before running away from home. She is believed to be staying with friends in the area, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

Alyssa is described as white, standing 5-feet-10-inches tall, 170 pounds, with red hair and hazel eyes, the sheriff’s office said.

She is listed as a missing person in the National Crime Information Center database.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts should call the sheriff’s office tip line at 564-397-2120.
