Letter: Trump’s complaints ring hollow

It is hard to narrow down from the multiple deficiencies displayed by Trump, but I will choose just two of his favorite gripes: COVID-19 testing and immigration.

He complains that we have so many cases only because we do too much testing. By that logic, if we were to eliminate X-rays, we would do away with multiple broken bones.

On his next common complaint, there is no one presently living in the United States who is not here as the result of immigration. That includes those whose forefathers crossed the land bridge over the Bering Strait 20,000 years ago.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
