Letter: Honor police by wearing mask

By Nancy Schultz, Vancouver
Published: August 13, 2020, 6:00am

It was interesting to me that most of the people in Ridgefield who rallied for the police were not wearing masks! I saw one mask in the two photos published. However, the police they were there to “honor” were wearing masks. It hardly honors law enforcement to meet and greet them and convey COVID-19 to them at the same time.

These are our first responders. You do no good, and convey no honor, if you’re not wearing masks. Be the good citizens your police are: Mask up.
