BATTLE GROUND — The Battle Ground Education Foundation donated $20,000 to Battle Ground Public Schools to buy Chromebook computers and software licenses. The district has used Chromebooks, considered “easy to manage, cost-effective, and compatible with the Google suite of education apps,” since 2012, according to a news release. Every student is given a Chromebook through a one-to-one computing initiative. The Honorable Frank L. and Arlene G. Price Foundation, which has a mission to improve education, health and historic preservation in Clark and Cowlitz counties, donated the funds to the education foundation.
